The Studio Area

The studio is heated by a powerful heating system. This ensures total comfort, no matter what the weather is doing outside.

The studio is designed with comfort and utility in mind and has an integrated kitchen complete with microwave oven, fridge-freezer and of course, tea and coffee making facilities.

The main shooting area is already equipped with more than 50 different backdrops to choose from including paper, muslins, canvas and collapsibles. Many are on electrically powered rollers or on expans, making quick and effortless background changes, some as long as 30ft in total.

Many of the backdrops can be back-lit with different coloured gels (also available) making the choice of background effects endless.

There is also a selection of furniture and other props available for your use.

The studio benefits from entrances at the front and rear, with the latter having a large electrically powered roller shutter allowing easy access for larger props including motor bikes, sports cars, plant or other equipment in to the studio.

There is a large discrete changing area with wash facilities including shower, hand dryer and separate toilets.

The changing area is large, brightly lit and mirrored providing ample space for multiple models and makeup artists.

Next to the changing room is an office / media room fully equipped with a pc powered by a dual core processor, CD or DVD burning software card readers, Photoshop 7 and Photoshop CS, prefect for viewing or processing images.

The studio has a music system that is also controlled from the office, sending sound to all corners of the room. The professional hi-fi system can play cds or accommodate external devices such as MP3 players etc.

Both changing rooms and media rooms are also suitable as sets.

Much of the studio shooting area has been fitted with a Bowen Hi-Glide system, professionally installed by Bowens approved installer Philip Lyons. 8 monoblocks all on separate rails cover a vast area of the studio allowing endless lighting permutations.

Many of our other lights are on large lighting stands or boons with castors so movement of lights is quick and effortless.
